showed that it had collected a total of P8.3 million in regulatory
fees, or an increase of P .9 million compared to the previous
collection of P7.4 million in 2003. Acting Building Official Teresita
attributed the increase to the massive saturation drive they conducted
for the implementation of PD 1096, or the National Building Code,
starting last year. She said that the law also provides for the
regulation of all industrial and commercial establishments.
