Pag-ibig fund housing Bacolod
Pag-IBIG Fund is a nationwide provident savings fund and a housing
finance system for the filipino workers. By virtue of PD 1530 signed
on June 11 1978, the HOME DEVELOPMENT MUTUAL FUND (HDMF) was created.
Initially, two funds were established, one for government employees
and another for private employees. Membership was voluntary. PD 1530
was later amended by PD 1752, establishing HDMF as a separate
institution to administer the pooled savings under the provident fund
for housing. the two funds were merged into what is known as the
Pag-IBIG Fund housing Bacolod. Membership was made mandatory.
Pag-IBIG now issues COERs
The Pag-IBIG Fund Housing Bacolod Sub-Regional Office is accepting requests
for the issuance of Certificate of Employer Registration from its
private member-employers in Bacolod City and Negros Occidental, a
press release from Pag-IBIG said. The office is requiring the
following documents to secure the COER: SSS Certificate of
Registration, SEC Certificate of Registration (for Corporation); DTI
Certificate of Registration or Business Permit (for Sole
Proprietorship and Partnership).
Pag-IBIG members' records now accessible via Internet
IN only a few minutes, the members' remitted records of contribution,
multi-purpose loan data, and provident claims in other Pag-ibig Fund
Housing Bacolod Mutual regional offices can now be checked and viewed
through Pag-IBIG Fund's Virtual Private Network via the Internet.
"Verified data are now live and records are regularly updated for
members' convenience," systems administrator Ben Rosendo Neri of the
Pag-IBIG regional office in Cagayan de Oro said.
